We have again started this year with a very challenging situation. There are still various uncertainties affecting business development in aviation. Challenging topics such as the "lack of qualified staff" but also forward-looking topics such as "digitalization" and "agility" are continuously discussed on many levels.
We therefore remain optimistic: we are continuously expanding our training courses and developing individual training solutions for our customers in order to optimize our product portfolio on an on-going basis.

Digital signature of certificates
|
| In the future Lufthansa Technical Training certificates will be qualified signed and digitally transmitted to customers. The certificates with the signature of the German Federal Aviation Office and other authorities will be allowed for entries in the AML of trainees; authorizations can be issued. It is currently being tested whether the certificate can be sent directly to the trainees by e-mail. The go live of digital signature is scheduled to be in July 2022.

| Integrating new eLearning products
|
In the last weeks Lufthansa Technical Training provided three eLearning products in the Learning Management System (LMS) for one of its biggest customers:
1. Fuel Tank Safety Phase 1+2
2. Human Factors Continuation Training
3. English Placement Test
Additional eLearning products are already in development in cooperation with several customers.

| On February 22 Lufthansa Technical Training and Temasek Polytechnic (TP) signed an extension of their partnership agreement in providing aircraft technical training for another 5 years.
