Innovation Roadshow At this year’s Innovation Roadshow at the Lufthansa Aviation Center in Frankfurt, Lufthansa Technical Training presented MAINTAIN360 – a project demonstrating how immersive technologies can support a more modern and efficient approach to maintenance training in the future. |

Innovator Award The VR project MAINTAIN360 was recognized as one of the Top 3 finalists in the category Hands-on Innovation at this year’s Lufthansa Group Innovator Award – a significant milestone for the Lufthansa Technical Training innovation team. |

|
EATS The European Aviation Training Symposium (EATS) – one of the leading industry events for education and training in civil aviation – took place from 4 to 6 November in Cascais. Lufthansa Technical Training was represented with its own booth, engaging in numerous professional discussions and establishing new contacts within the training and MRO community. The symposium offered valuable insights into current developments, including Competency-Based Training (CBTA/EBT), the use of Virtual Reality, standardization in training, and relevant regulatory trends. A particular highlight was the presentation by Florian Bausch, Head of Type Training, titled “Beyond knowledge: Building competence and mindset in maintenance training”, which received strong interest and provided important impulses for modern training approaches. |

83rd EAMTC General Assembly Meeting Lufthansa Technical Training participated in the 83rd General Assembly Meeting of the European Aviation Maintenance Training Committee (EAMTC) in Mendrisio. The event focused on the introduction of Competency-Based Training (CBTA) and the ongoing digitalization of aviation maintenance training. Participants gained valuable insights into new regulatory requirements and innovative learning approaches. Additional momentum was provided by the election of the new EAMTC Board. The insights gained support the continued development of Lufthansa Technical Training’s training portfolio and strengthen its international future readiness. |
