UK CAA Approval: A380 Training Lufthansa Technical Training has received the UK CAA Part‑147 approval, further expanding its training capabilities. At the same time, the Airbus A380 Full Type Training Course was successfully relaunched and officially introduced in collaboration with Lufthansa Technik Philippines. This milestone was celebrated during a joint on-site event attended by employees and course participants. The dual-certified program sets new standards for modern aircraft maintenance training. |

DEMAR Seminar In mid-March, Lufthansa Technical Training participated in the DEMAR Seminar in Straubing for the first time. The event provided a platform to discuss current developments regarding European Military Airworthiness Requirements (EMAR) in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In exchange with representatives from authorities, armed forces, and industry, valuable connections were established and key insights gained for the further development of Lufthansa Technical Training’s defense-related activities. |

Vietnam Aero Summit 2026 In March, Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines took part in the Vietnam Aero Summit 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City. The conference brought together international experts from areas such as maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), logistics, airport operations, and technical training. A highlight of the event was the contribution by Laura Diedrich, Head of Lufthansa Technical Training Operations Asia-Pacific, who participated as a speaker and demonstrated how training approaches can effectively address diverse cultural and generational needs in the Asian market. Participation in the summit underscores Lufthansa Technical Training’s strong presence in the rapidly growing Asia-Pacific aviation market. |

Social Engagement in the Philippines In April, Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines supported the San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the Elderly in Pasay City, which provides a home for elderly people in need. In addition to material donations, the focus was on personal interaction: through conversations and shared activities, employees gave their time, attention, and appreciation to the residents. The initiative highlights the value of personal commitment and shows how even small gestures can make a meaningful difference. |
